Review of ghosts of the old hall gainsborough.

 Event Held 08/08/09

The venue was staggering, what a beautiful place. I felt a bit disappointed that there wasn't more activity, knowing that the building was over 500 yrs old. there were cold spots, at one stage I had a person attached them selves to me and was shaking my hand, got one photo of a orb in the great hall and took another straight away and its not on the next picture. my self and two others were in the great hall we did here scratching and rustling like silk dresses, and I saw a figure of a person in the great hall twice. up stairs I saw a pair of feet with shoes with very large buckles  on, i'm hoping I caught that on my video camera, but apart from that, it was very quiet. perhaps it was me hoping for things to happen and they didn't .Apart from that it was a great night, company was brilliant. lets hope we go back, you never know more might happen next time. Jeremy and Cindy thanks for a good night, cant wait for the next one.

It was my 1st time at Gainsborough old hall. It’s a beautiful building. Cindy and Jeremy make you feel very welcome. You start the night off with a walk around the building. We then get the lights off. And that is when the fun starts. I heard some moans and laughter there was some cold spot and rooms going really dark. The high light for me was when I sat on a chair and it stated to rock me from side to side. If was a brilliant night. Can not wait to go on another one.

A big thank you for a really enjoyable evening at Gainsborough Old Hall on 8th August. I have been on a few "ghost hunts" with other groups and had a reasonable time but
Ghostly Gatherings made the evening interesting and entertaining and the time just flew by. I am looking forward to another outing with you soon.

Thanks again,

What an utterly orb-some night.  We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.  Unless you do this you really will not know how much fun standing in a room in the dark in the dead of the night can be.

Jeremy and Cindy were fabulous ghosts (sorry, hosts – spell check on strike).  They made us feel really welcome and helped us get into the spirit of things.  The regular supply of caffeine and chocolate was gratefully received and helped keep the energy going.  The ghoulies got up close and personal, particularly with one member of our group! Just wish we could have seen the half-naked swash buckling man walking up the stairs!!!!

The venue was superb.  As locals we can’t think of anywhere better to have had our first ghostly gathering.  We will definitely be doing this again, and now look at the Old Hall in a completely differently light.  What memories we have of 8 August (though there was a very sad story to be learnt as well).

The crystals are a definite “must try” for anyone who goes on a ghostly gathering.  Even the most cynical would struggle to come up with a logical explanation, we think.

Thank you so much Jeremy and Cindy for a wonderful night at Gainsborough.  The pink bag and bizarre glove regularly haunting us!!!
