Review of ghosts of the old hall gainsborough.
Event Held 08/08/09

It was my 1st time at Gainsborough old hall. It’s a beautiful building. Cindy and Jeremy make you feel very welcome. You start the night off with a walk around the building. We then get the lights off. And that is when the fun starts. I heard some moans and laughter there was some cold spot and rooms going really dark. The high light for me was when I sat on a chair and it stated to rock me from side to side. If was a brilliant night. Can not wait to go on another one.

What an utterly orb-some night. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. Unless you do this you really will not know how much fun standing in a room in the dark in the dead of the night can be.
Jeremy and Cindy were fabulous ghosts (sorry, hosts – spell check on strike). They made us feel really welcome and helped us get into the spirit of things. The regular supply of caffeine and chocolate was gratefully received and helped keep the energy going. The ghoulies got up close and personal, particularly with one member of our group! Just wish we could have seen the half-naked swash buckling man walking up the stairs!!!!
The venue was superb. As locals we can’t think of anywhere better to have had our first ghostly gathering. We will definitely be doing this again, and now look at the Old Hall in a completely differently light. What memories we have of 8 August (though there was a very sad story to be learnt as well).
The crystals are a definite “must try” for anyone who goes on a ghostly gathering. Even the most cynical would struggle to come up with a logical explanation, we think.
Thank you so much Jeremy and Cindy for a wonderful night at Gainsborough. The pink bag and bizarre glove regularly haunting us!!!
