FIVE BELLS EDENHAM REVIEWS (event held 3/10/08)
We would like to thank all of
our guests and the staff of the Five bells. For what proved to be a most
momentous occasion.
Activity included ghostly hymn singing, dragging noises, whining noises, light
anomalies, pinching, pushing and prodding.
At one point two people were pushed to such an angle its hard to understand how
they stayed on their feet. Facial changes were observed and over bearing fear
and pain were felt. Along with the pub dog having a door slammed shut behind it
by an unseen entity.
I attended the ghostly
gathering group at The Five Bells at Edenham, with a little apprehension, as
it was the first time for me to go to anything like this. Cindy and Jeremy
made us all feel very relaxed and are night began.
We were in a small group and we went into the kitchen where we all
experienced the light bulb in the hall flashing one side, we were in
complete darkness, so this itself was very strange, also there was sparkling
lights on the floor around our feet. Some people in the group felt it was a
large lady present in the kitchen, who did not like men as they stopped the
girls from working, two of the guys were being pushed forward by her. Not
feeling un-nerved we went down the cellar, where there was a light
reflection on the wall, which could not be explained and there was some
large orbs darting around the room. When we left the cellar we went onto
the dance floor where the mood lifted and some of the group felt joyous and
wanted to dance, there were some very cold spots on the dance floor too
though. My mind was defiantly made up that there are something's we cant
explain when I went into the gents toilets and had such a feeling of being
watched ,it was a really unpleasant feeling, two people in the group had to
leave as they felt too uneasy being in there!
It was a fantastic night and even the non believers were convinced, we all
had an experience and I would recommend ghostly gatherings to all.
Thank-you Cindy and Jeremy for you're professional manner and the way you
conducted the evening and making even the nervous among us feel completely
at ease.
Mandy.
Will you be brave enough to return with us to the Five bells Edenham.
