The Spectres of Stanley Palace

This 16 century grade II listed building in the heart of Chester. Has been used
as a family home and the prison of the 7th Earl of Derby who was placed here
under house arrest until his execution for campaigning on behalf of the royalist
cause during the English civil war. It was later divided up into three homes,
but by 1889 the Derby family returned and in 1911 the palace was turned into a
museum as it is to this day.
Hauntings and activity include. Spectoral footsteps, apparitions and the world
famous photo negative ghost seen on numerous occasions by staff and visitors
alike. Phantom music and singing plus orbs and a strange electrical fault that
occurred on our preliminary visit plus much much more
All this plus two mediums and investigation equipment all night long.
